I am pleased with the results of this painting....I only used Water Color.....I tried to make the lighthouse look very old and almost is disarray, and yet usable.....I put the cracks in with a sharp edge and then went over them with burnt sienna and a liner brush......Thank you for viewing my blog

Adding photos
Hello everybody, I have added a few more of my paintings...the Birdhouses are a series that I have decided to do...I will paint several more but for now that is all I have done....I China Doll is only a 7 1/2 x 11.....I wasn't thinking or I would have made it wide enough to fit in a ready made frame.....my bad..........I have a matt cutter and I guess now I'll have to get busy and try my hand with it.... I am hoping to add more paintings as time allows....I may add some paintings I did on the computer too....It is done with NaturePainter software...I'm not very good with it yet, but I keep practicing .......I will write more as time allows.....I want to thank all those who have been here to check things out... kgn

Webbing, Paint Process
the Webbing, paint process is done with webbing like what you get at Halloween....Tape your paper on a foam board and then stretch webbing across the paper randomly, and pin to the board, (outside the paper) ....then drop, paint, or spray color onto paper through webbing.....let this dry completely.....It will take some time, as the webbing is hard to dry....After it dries, take off webbing and use the results as a background... I look at the results and figure out from there what needs to come out of it.....hope you try it...If you have any question, let me know
